Terms of Service
Effective October 26, 2026 · Belvic Group, 1-456 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, ON L2M 4X1, Canada
These terms apply when you use Belvic Group's ("Belvic", "we") website, free security check, DIY Fix Kit, Domain Lockdown, Fix-It Package, Ongoing Protection or IT partner plans. By buying or using a service, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
1. What our checks do, and don't do
Our checks read public information only: DNS records, domain registration details, your public website, public certificate logs and public blocklists. The Fake Email Detector runs in your browser and doesn't send the email you paste to us. Grades and advice reflect what we could see at the time of the check. A good grade isn't a guarantee of security, and our services don't replace a full security assessment, antivirus, backups or staff training.
2. Domains you add
Only buy services for, or add, domains that you own or are authorized to manage. IT partners confirm that each client whose domain they add has agreed to daily checks. We may refuse or remove a domain where we reasonably believe that isn't the case.
3. The services
- DIY Fix Kit: a personal step-by-step guide built from your scan, plus 30 days of daily checks. You (or whoever manages your domain) make the changes. We're not responsible for changes you make with your providers, so follow the steps carefully and keep a note of existing records before changing them.
- Domain Lockdown and Fix-It Package (done for you): we make the changes described for the package with your providers, then rescan to confirm. You give us the access we need (for example, temporary access to your DNS host) within 30 days of buying, and you can remove that access when we're done. Fix-It aims for an A or B grade on our check; some items depend on your providers (for example, whether they support DNSSEC), and we'll tell you if something can't be done.
- Ongoing Protection: daily checks of your email and domain security, website security, lookalike (copycat) domains, certificates and subdomains, alerts when something breaks, gets worse or a new risk appears, a monthly report and step-by-step fix guides. Where you point your DMARC reports to us, reports include counts of emails sent using your domain.
- IT partner plans: daily checks for up to the number of client domains in your plan, one alert digest for all of them, and co-branded monthly reports sent to you. Your team fixes issues using the guides. Partners are responsible for their relationship with their clients.
4. Prices, payment and taxes
Prices are in Canadian dollars and shown on our website. Canadian customers pay the GST or HST for their province, added at checkout; customers outside Canada pay no Canadian tax. Your card provider converts the charge if you pay in another currency. Payments are processed by Square. We may change prices for future purchases or future billing periods; subscribers get at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change applies to them.
5. Subscriptions and cancellation
Ongoing Protection and partner plans renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel anytime through the link in your Square receipt or by emailing us; billing stops at the end of the current month, and we don't refund partial months. When a subscription ends, monitoring for its domains stops.
6. Refunds
- DIY Fix Kit: if the guide doesn't work for your setup, email us within 14 days of buying for a full refund.
- Domain Lockdown and Fix-It: if we can't deliver what the package describes for reasons within our control, we'll refund you in full. Once the work is completed and confirmed by rescan, the fee isn't refundable. If you don't provide access within 30 days, we may close the order with a refund less any work already done.
- Nothing in these terms limits refund rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.
7. Partner promise
We won't contact an IT partner's clients about our own services, or sell to them, based on domains the partner adds. This doesn't stop a business from coming to us on its own.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use our website or services to break the law, to harm or harass others, to send spam, to overload our systems, or to try to get around our limits or security. We may suspend access for misuse.
9. Our content
Reports and guides are for your business's (or, for partners, your clients') internal use. Our website, scanner, wording and design belong to Belvic Group.
10. Limits on our responsibility
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data), or for problems caused by your providers, third-party services or changes you make. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Some laws don't allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post changes here with a new effective date and email subscribers about significant changes. Continuing to use a service after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
